In our pleasant and inspiring Art Room you can experiment with a wide range of materials and techniques. A typical session could involve painting, sketching, photography, collage, print-making and design using a computer.

We have always been involved in the 'softer' crafts - sewing, knitting, crochet etc, but these days we specialise in quirky recycled textiles.

Workbase arts and crafts in known locally for it's rag rugs and we produce a peg rug kit with full instructions. With our state-of-the-art sewing machine we make bags and fabric collages. Throughout the summer we demonstrate and sell our unusual craft items at local shows and events.
